Yes. If a person receives 4 or more convictions within a 1-year period, then they will get a notice of suspension letter from DPS. We highly suggest that you contact a lawyer to contest the suspension action if it is because of too many traffic related convictions. In many cases, a lawyer can negotiate a deal with the administrative hearings officer to keep your license if you do not get any other traffic related convictions within a certain period of time (normally 180 days).
