The answer is maybe. A lawyer’s main goal is to protect a person’s driving record. If the evidence shows that a person is guilty of a traffic related offense and the prosecutor can prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt, then a lawyer must negotiate a deal with the prosecutor to not have that offense reported on their client’s record. Many times, this means that a person will have to pay a fee to the court to finalize the agreement between the prosecutor and your lawyer to keep the offense from appearing on your permanent driving record.
