If you drive a vehicle while your license was revoked, suspended, denied or cancelled you are technically driving when you should not have been. Because your license was invalid at the time the police officer stopped you, if a citation of any kind was issued and becomes a conviction on your record, then DPS will be notified of that conviction. This means that they can take a suspension action against you. For more information on how to fight these types of suspensions contact The Beltz Law Firm at 214-321-4105.
