Expert Defense for Your Flower Mound Traffic Ticket
Many people simply pay their traffic tickets, unaware of the hidden costs. Paying a citation in Flower Mound Municipal Court is an admission of guilt, resulting in a conviction on your permanent driving record. This can lead to:
- Driver’s License Suspension: Accumulating too many traffic ticket convictions can trigger an automatic suspension of your Texas driver’s license by the Department of Public Safety (DPS).
- Increased Auto Insurance Rates: Traffic convictions often cause your insurance premiums to skyrocket for years, costing you hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
- Outstanding Warrants: Ignoring a ticket can lead to a failure to appear, resulting in a warrant for your arrest and additional legal complications.

Hi, I had just received a ticket for Stop Sign Violation in School Zone in Flower Mound. I also did not have my DL or an up-to-date insurance (but they can look up the validity of it). The police officer said that she would give the others as a warning but will give me a ticket for the stop sign. However, on the citation, I see that she put all 3 violations. When she pulled me over, she said I wasn’t wearing my seat belt properly, but didn’t say anything about not stopping at the stop sign. Is not wearing a proper seat belt considered a stop sign violation? I also did not a see a school zone sign in the area. I could be wrong, and will drive there to check it again.
One last thing: I received deferred disposition in Sunnyvale. I think I’m still within the probation time. Do you know if Sunnyvale requires you to have a traffic violation only in that city to get a conviction?
